aCerno

Acerno, an online ad network company specializing in the next wave of behavioral targeting, wanted to redefine, redesign and reintroduce their brand to better represent their business and its cutting-edge position in the marketplace.


At the outset of the project, Magnitude 9.6 brought in our corporate identity design partner Certainly Studios to help with the multi-level assignment.


Certainly and Magnitude worked closely with acerno’s management team to identify acerno’s business objectives, strengths, and brand personality. Once their new positioning was thoroughly understood, the team developed the theme line “acerno. the add network” along with the new logo, company colors, type treatment and core brand identity materials. Once those were in place, Certainly developed business cards, stationary, envelopes, collateral, and style guide.


At the same time, Magnitude began developing the corporate website so that all materials would be ready for launch simultaneous, which they were.

 

Was the project a success? Within two months after the launch, acerno was purchased by Akamai for $95,000,000.
